1200 Questions

In my previous post I posted a bunch of how-to handbooks that my wife found in our grandmother’s basement. Being my favorite I saved this booklet for it’s own post. When I first held it in my hands I was amazed by the simplicity of the red cover and the font used for the title. What is inside is even better. 12 loose illustrators done in black ink. One for each chapter with 100 questions about the chapter’s subject. I did a little research and found that the booklet was published by Field Enterprises Inc. Founded my Marshall Field III who launched the Chicago Sun and bought up the Chicago Daily Times creating the Chicago Sun-Times that we know today. I was unable to find who the illustrator is. If anyone has an idea I’d love to know and maybe see more of his/her work. The booklet looks like it was made to go with the 1953 World Book Encyclopedia and even has references inside to answers you can find in the World Book.
