A special thank you to John Malloy who just informed us of his first BIG solo exhibit, ”One Out of A Hundred,” which opens at Art Whino Gallery (just 20 minutes from Washington D.C.), Saturday Feb. 21. The show’s title is in reference to a personal series of 7 fine art works using the concept of drug side effects as a metaphor for consumer culture’s long-term effects on the human spirit. The show will have over 50 works of original art, including illustration, fine art, and comics will be on display in the exhibit and for sale. See more about the show on John’s site and the Art Whino Gallery.

John is a fantastic artist in the realm of both fine and commercial arts. He’s been published in BPM, Paste, Faesthetic, Business Week, Lemon Magazine, Dazed & Confused, and has done work for Minus The Bear. His work has a unique color pallet and a great sense of motion.
