serial cut

Reference photo for illustration (Robert Burch)
I found Serial Cut™ while surfing around with Stumble Upon. It is a creative studio from Madrid, Spain established in 1999 by Sergio del Puerto, focused on art direction + graphic design + illustration. There work features a lot of CGI/3D lettering. Something I’m normally not drawn to but for some reason find my self liking in their portfolio. They seem to specialize in 3D lettering and therefore know what they’re doing more than many. I choose the Jumpman Jordan photo (2nd to last) to post because it reminds me of reference photos I’ve taken and put together for illustration jobs where I’ve posed myself as various figures in the illustration.
What I like best about their site besides its urban newspaper style is that each project gives information about the design process used to create it.
