George: Wrestling with Resistance is a film by Tim O’Donnell, that follows George Hargrove’s freshman year wrestling season at Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield Massachusetts. The film parallels the tough sport of wrestling with the adversities facing youth in the inner city. I’ve been invited by Tim to attend the premier screening of the film at the Basketball Hall of Fame. If your interested and in the area the film screens on November 12th at 6:00 pm and is followed by a Q&A session with Tim and George. The screening is free to the public.
