I’ve been watching re-runs of Mike Judge’s King of the Hill on Cartoon Network. In fact I’m watching it now. It’s one of those shows I never really got to watch. Now that I’ve had the chance I really like it. Hank Hill is a voice of reason this world could use. My favorite Hank Hill line as of recent is “Nothing good has ever come from teenagers talking to each other about their problems”. He’s right. Bobby Hill, Hank’s son, is my favorite character. He’s optimistic, naive, and talks to adults as if they are his equals. It’s fun to discover something that’s been around for awhile. I never really like Judge’s Beavis and Butt-head, but King of Hill has a different every day humor that I find very funny.
