With L.L. Bean’s faithful babyboomer and beyond customers increasing in years they have wisely added a new Signature collection of clothing and accessories designed by, Alex Carleton, geared towards today’s 30 somethings like myself. Though my initial reaction was skeptical I have to say I’m happily surprised. The Men’s collection is fitted, simple and classic all around, and the women’s line is strong as well. There are a few women’s pants that are still a bit “mom-jeans-ish” and I’m not a fan of the butt pockets on the front, but over all a good showing. Clothes I wouldn’t mind my wife or myself wearing. Typical of L.L. Bean, the pricing is reasonable as well.
