I’ve been a fan of the oil paintings of Aaron Meshon for years. His work is both fun and edgy. When I was at Mass Art in the illustration department he came and spoke about his work. Aaron was encouraging and down to earth and was one of the illustrators that made me think maybe it was possible for me to be an illustrator too. His work along with Chris Buzelli’s and Jon Krause made me want to specialize in editorial illustration. I love to see concepts turned into images and I liked the romantic exciting pace. Still I manage to never really have to pull an all nighter.
