I’m thankful that Illustrator, graphic novelist,  Koren Shadmi sent me an email pointing out his portfolio. I love his flowing lines and saturated textured color giving his work a slight eastern quality. Shadmi was born in Israel and worked there for a number of years before moving to New York. His first graphic novel was published at the age of 17! His first English graphic novel In the Flesh was published in 2009. Overall what I like best about Shadmi’s work is that it’s smart.
