Farmidable started as a pattern making collaboration between Zach Fink (retired because of work) and myself. It has since expanded to include an art/design blog  featuring posts from myself and occasional guest posters. Posts include reviews, information and interviews of artists and designers. Basically posts are about things I find interesting and would like to share.

About Robert Burch:
I am freelance illustrator and full time graphic designer for Stevens 470. I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. I love Russian literature, Japanese and Indian art and the Bible. Farmidable started as a collaboration making patterns and posting them for people to download for free. We make things for you to make your computer look great. We spend tons of time making totally unique and non-brand-oriented desktop patterns so you can make your computer look the way you want it to. We are the only site, that we know of anyway, to exclusively make desktop wallpaper patterns and give them away for free. About the Name:
A formidable farm of art and design. I get up at 4:00 am every morning and work until sunset searching for art, design and music that I like. If you see  something you think I may want to post please drop me a line.
