Flickr Friday: Michael Paukner, Diagrams February 12
This week’s Flickr Friday brings you the work of graphic designer, art director, freelancer, Michael Paukner. I’ve been a sucker for charts, graphs and diagrams lately so I was happy to find Michael’s work. See his photo stream here.
Flickr Friday: Erik Nitsche’s Photostream December 4

These images posted in Erik Nitsche’s Photostream are of various General Dynamics ads and annual reports from the 1950’s. The photostream is maintained by BustBright in Los Angeles as a personal inventory of Nitsche’s work as well as a service for the design community. For those who don’t know Nitsche was a contemporary of Lester Beall, Paul Rand and Saul Bass. For more information about Nitsche check out this biography by Steven Heller.
Photostream of iv_orlov November 26

While searching around the interwebs for a nice tut on how to make an iPhone app I came across iv_orlov’s photostream on Flickr. Completely unrelated to what I was looking for yet delightful. I really enjoy the color pallets and texture that each piece has. There’s a lot more too: see more here.
Flickr Friday: irenestrange April 10

This week’s Flickr Friday features the photos and crochet sculptures of Irina Antonyuk, a.k.a. irenestrange. The crochet bird…er…containers caught my attention, and the remaining super-cute critters held it. The pool is rounded out by some cool photos (of which there seems to be no end when it comes to Japan…). Irene is apparently a packaging designer by trade, and makes these great creatures as hobby. You can find her Etsy store here.
Flickr Friday: Outofprint’s photostream April 3

This weeks Flickr Friday features image from Outofprint’s design book archive. Outofprint’s photostream mainly consists of Out-of-Print material in the form of books, magazines and posters that he has been collecting over the years.
Flickr Friday: a picture’s Photostream March 27

This Flickr Friday we have photographer Craig McCormick. I think what stood out to me most about his work was that it seems thought out and well composed. I also like the sense of space in his photos. Of course there’s a bit of pattern in there too. You can see more in his photostream and on his site.
