Bjork’s new video premiered yesterday-ish, and we’ve been blessed with a link to a beautiful hi res version courtesy of our good friend Jean-Paul Bouchard of the Velvet Fog. The video is directed by Encyclopedia Pictura, who are also responsible for the video for Grizzly Bear’s “The Knife“, and it’s totally beautiful and crazy. Interview With Meghan Burch of Kaybu

Meghan Burch has been an art maker since she can remember. She studied illustration at the Massachusetts College of Art and is now an Art Studio Educator at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, MA. Meghan also designs and makes products for Kaybu, her collection of hand screen-printed and sewn home goods, accessories and apparel.

I recently had a chance to sit down with Meghan and talk about her love of art making and design.

Patterns in Illustration

Robert Burch is a freelance illustrator living in western Massachusetts who incorporates patterns in much of his work. His style is “loosely” inspired by Japanese woodblock prints. Two great examples are Competition and Why Our Rescuers Need to be Rescued. Check out his portfolio to see more.
