Flickr Friday: Will Govus January 3

.

Just squeezing this Flickr Friday in on schedule (west coast time at least). This Friday’s post features Will Govus’s Flickr, and a bunch of really beautiful photos therein. I was turned on to Will’s work by Kitsune Noir, and really enjoyed looking through his Flickr photos, as well as his portfolio.
Merry Christmas! December 25
Merry Christmas to everyone from Farmidable. Hope everyone is happy and safe.
Greenwood, Mississippi November 29
For the last month I have been filming a documentary in the South. Made some friends, ate alot of catfish and fried pickles. Listened to Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters. Made a deal with the devil down by the crossroads….Now Im back up north, smack-dab! in the heart of New York City. Never thought I’d say this, but I really miss the south.
Here is some amazing art I found on the streets of Who Knows Where, AMERICA.
This Is Sand November 7

This is really fun, but takes way too long! Incidently, it’s designed in part by Johanna Lundberg.
Guillaume Ninove November 2
Drawn turned me onto Guillaume Ninove. He’s a French artist that creates these beautiful pieces that are somewhere between sculpture and collage. Lately, he’s been making stop-motion pieces that use his scale models as set pieces. Animation 1 from guillaume ninove on Vimeo. Alot of his drawings are of abstracted arcitecture. retro and industrial, strange compositions with telephone polls, tiny brick patterns, wood grain, muted tones and vacant lots.
