Sorry it took so long to get this one out. My Mac was out of service for four and a half days. This illustratated pattern came right out of the Farmidable sketchbook and is a tribute to Indian artist Nandalal Bose. The download file contains three versions, an orange, a red (which is pink) and a not for cowards yellow. Hope you enjoy. Click here to download it in our gallery.

As promised, we’ve released a new pattern today! Pine Boughs is available in the gallery, so click on over and download it. You’re guaranteed to find peace and serenity amongst these idyllically drooping boughs of pine! It may be noted that this is a somewhat belated entry in the line of Farmidable patterns inspired in some way by Japanese wood block prints and samurai therein.

A sketchbook is an integral part making art, design, and illustration. In fact most Farmidable patterns began with some sort of idea or concept that was brainstormed with pencil and paper in a sketch. Many of our preliminaries are even posted in our “In the Works” category. This new pattern, Rain Lines, celebrates the shapes of small pencil marks made over and over. Yeah, yeah, so they’re kinda derivative of our other most recent pattern, but these vines merited a pattern of their own, and so we have it.
