I’ve seen a lot of time lapse video. What sets this one apart are bright colored running suits, geese and a sweet catchy song. I’ve been slowly working on a catchy song mix to listen to as I paint the house and this is definitely on the list.

Painting on an iPad

I saw this video on Gizmodo. On June 21, David Kassan streamed a live finger painting on an iPad. I’m not sure I like the idea of painting on an iPad, but it is pretty amazing. I would miss the real paint.

The High Road by Broken Bells is currently one of my favorite songs. It’s got a great intro that makes me thing of slow robots break dancing and the rest of the song is really catchy too. I was really excited to finally see the video. It’s got a lot of nicely framed shots. There are a few spots where Danger Mouse, James Mercer and if I recall, a young boy walk in and out of smoke that is blowing across the road that it really nicely done. Overall the video is okay but not as good as the song. Danger Mouse doesn’t really do much but walk around and look at stuff.

Atomic bombs, puppets, dogs and a great song. This video looks poorly done at first and is seemingly random, but if you watch the whole thing it’s amazing. I don’t want to say too much. Make sure you watch it all the way through. It’s worth the eleven minutes. Keep you eyes peeled for small details. You may want to watch it more than once.

Meg sent me this video last night. I really enjoyed seeing people’s reactions to what was going on. I wish I were there. What’s great is that you can’t really tell who is a dancer. It could be the person next to you texting on their phone. If something like this happened it would be worth arriving a bit late to your destination to watch. I hope you enjoy it.
