Comment Contest Winners.

Round one:

Chalk one up for our first comment contest winner! This chalkboard pattern is sure to bang the dust out of your erasers. Custom created for Abbey of Aesthetic Outburst, and How Now Design, the patten comes in black and green. Download it in our pattern gallery.

Making this pattern was a lot like working on a chalk board. A lot of different ideas were tried and erased. We started with a grid and various eastern language characters. Most of them translate to say chalkboard.

We then played around with a fish scale pattern.

We erased the fish scales and replaced the grid with a”beehive” grid.

We then added these water drops.
