MATRIX II April 5
Yesterday we went to the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego. By far our favorite exhibition was this one by ERWIN REDL: titled Matrix II. As we walked into the exhibit a member walking out told us “You guys are going to have fun. Think non-traditionally”. Thinking he was a bit pretentious, we entered to find an installation and guards inviting us to weave in and out of thousands of green hanging led lights aligned in a cubic grid. As we moved through the installation space and patterns changed dramatically from step to step. Unfortunately the photos don’t do the installation the justice. We had fun just like the member told us.
